Line Investments & Star Cinemas join hands

7^th August 2023, Dubai, UAE: As prominent leaders in their respective industries, Line Investments & Property, the shopping mall development, and management arm of Lulu Group International and Star Cinemas have announced their Joint Venture at a signing ceremony held at the Lulu Regional Office, Al Qusais of an exciting journey ahead towards a shared vision. Through this dynamic partnership, these two trailblazing entities are set to revolutionize the entertainment landscape by introducing a new line of cinema screens that will captivate audiences like never before. This strategic expansion will contribute 22 additional screens to the existing 76 screens currently operated by Star Cinemas. The event was attended by many dignitaries, MA Ashraf Ali, Executive Director of Lulu Group International, Ahmad Golchin, the Founder and Chairman of Phars Film & Star Cinemas, Satyajit Pendharkar, Chief Operating Officer of Star Cinemas, and Wajeb al Khoury the Director of Line Investment & Property and Biju George  General Manager Abu Dhabi region.

The additional screens with the joint venture will be at the following locations: –

–         Al Wahda Mall, Abu Dhabi: 9 screens

–         Al Foah Mall, Al Ain: 6 screens

–         Barari Outlet Mall, Al Ain: 4 screens

–         Al Raha Mall, Abu Dhabi: 3 screens

In its relentless pursuit of enhancing customer experience, Line Investments & Property LLC firmly believes that convenience and comfort are paramount when moviegoers select their preferred cinema. Another integral part of the agreement is also opening of Star Cinemas in Dubai Silicon Oasis Mall, Sharjah Central Mall, and RAK Mall. This signing of JV has put Star Cinemas as the second largest cinema operator in the UAE, based on screen count.
